Cognisance means "awareness".The Supreme court observed that public places or workplaces or educational institutes cannot become places of High risk or vulnerable to women.Supreme court tells lack of patrolling , administrative deficiencies , negligence , Women cells in Universities etc are the prime reasons.What are your perspectives and practice measures should be taken by the government to make INDIA safer for women.

UAE confirms the extremism angle in the Commercial flight incident.
The Federal Prosecutor and Attorney-General Dr. Hamad Saif Al Shamsi confirmed the extremist angle in the flight incident that occurred on September 30th; it was an act of terror. The aircraft was on its route towards Tel Aviv from Dubai.During the flight the Omani co-pilot initiated an attack on Pilot inside the cockpit to take the control of it and ultimately wanted to crash it.Analysis:The co-pilot used onboard crash axe to initiate an attack. The axe is always kept in the cockpit for safety protocols, and it acts as a safety instrument. The attacker attempted to take control of the aircraft and wanted to crash it and initially the flight’s altitude was reduced due to an attack on the pilot.Despite sustaining the pilot of the aircraft Captain Smit Machchhar managed to unlock the cockpit’s door and some of the passengers rushed towards cockpit to stop the attacker and then wrestled back to take the control of the flight deck.Initial investigations reveal that the co-pilot has previously faced many scrutinies and was grounded in Oman due to his hard extremism beliefs. This has raised concerns about the background checks of the airline.This incident might have been a dangerous one, but with the calmness of the Pilot and the swift action of fellow passengers and crew members saved many lives. This also raises concerns about the safety protocols and the checks on the staff so that this kind of action can be stopped in the near future.Many commercial airlines paused their operations from Dubai to Israel until the pending forensic reviews. Tight screening protocols are presently in action. But most importantly, the background checks including the ideological background checks of flight crew must be made into the standard procedure.

This is a high threat to the shipping economy globally as this route provides 12% of global trade. The high risk will lead to high insurance premiums and will Buren the trade economies.In response to this, G7 nations including the EU (European Union) coordinated to check and balance the supply of energy coordinated with the International Energy Agency to release emergency stockpiles. They agreed to release 100 million barrels of crude oil and refined fuel products. This will be done for the coming months to fight the surging of prices and to ease the supply of petroleum and energy demands.The main point which leads G7 to go ahead with this solution is that the Suez Canal and Red Sea route operates about 12% of the global seaborne trade. Shutting down this will directly hamper the supply of essential facilities and will directly impact the energy economy.If the shipping routes were to be diverted to Southern tips of Africa, it would absorb the capacity of trade but in response it would lead to spike in the freight rates and lead to high transit charges of products. The Developing economies will face the biggest challenge as they mostly depend on importing the crude oil which will put burden on their economies and lead to trade deficit and pressure on their currencies. So, to keep this in mind, developing nations need to work on their bilateral ties to meet the demands of energy supply and trade.
